Our Payout Schedule

Arch Enterprises encourages customers to contact us either via our Request an Estimate Form or by calling (800) 835-0478. Because every shipment is different, this information allows us to give more accurate customized quotes and refining information.

Listed below are our payout percentages for some of the more common items we receive.

Karat Gold Jewelry

• 70% if customers send in less than 0.5 fine ounces.
• 80% if customers send in less than 1 fine ounce.
• 85% if customers send in less than 2 fine ounces.
• 90% if a customers send in more than 2 fine ounces.
• More than 90%, based on frequency and volume of shipments.

Note: Fine ounces refer to approximately 100% gold content.
So 1 ounce of 14k gold which is 58.24% gold by weight would only be about a half fine ounce of gold.

Silver Flatware
For 800 or 925 silver flatware we pay 75% of the fine silver content by weight. It is best to send in shipments over 1 lbs.

Silver Coins

• Unites States silver quarters and dimes minted 1964 and earlier: 90% of the silver value return.
• United States Silver War nickels minted 1942-1945: 40% of the silver value return.
  (This is lower than quarters and dimes because nickels contain much higher amounts of copper alloy).

Coins that have experienced significant wear often have around a 1-2 percent drop in weight. We mention this because if you simply take the weight of a freshly minted coin, it will almost always be more than one that has been in circulation for years. That is why we recommend weighing your silver coins before shipping.

Catalytic Converters
There is platinum and palladium in most catalytic converters. However; recovering the platinum and palladium from the converters is difficult and very time and energy consuming. We do not buy whole catalytic converters but will buy the pellets and honeycombs from units that have been “de-canned.”

Due to increased demand for catalytic converter refining services, we are temporarily not accepting this product for refining. We will update our website when we have the capacity to accept this material. Thank you.

For less than 100 lbs of pellets or honeycombs we pay the following prices:

• Non-Diesel Engines

For loose pellets from non-diesel engines we pay $3.00 per pound.
For honeycomb material from non-diesel engines we pay $8.00 per pound.

• Diesel Engines

For loose pellets from diesel engines we pay $3.00 per pound.
For honeycomb material from diesel engines we pay $3.00 per pound.

Please ship your items via USPS or other shipping service with a tracking number and request the "Delivery Signature Required" option. Use the tracking number to track your package after you ship. The majority of items we receive are handled on the day we receive them and a check is mailed immediately. Please call or email us if your payment has not arrived after 7 business days.
