Catalytic Converters

Scrap catalytic converters typically contain platinum and palladium metals in volumes that are significant enough to justify recycling.  They can be extracted from catalytic converters that have stopped working or from cars and trucks that have been sent to the junkyard.  Nearly every vehicle sold in the U.S. and Canada utilizes a catalytic converter and studies show that only about ½ of these are being refined.

Not only is this bad for the environment, but there is an opportunity for money to be made as the precious metals can be recycled back into industry.  Typical platinum catalysts come in the form of honeycomb or pellets and Arch Enterprises has the ability to refine both.

We can accept these pellets, the honeycomb mesh, or the entire catalytic converter if you chose not to cut apart the unit.  There is no minimum on the number of catalytic converters that you need to have refined and payouts are based on the actual precious metal content extracted which varies on the site of the converter and various other factors.
